Most notably this affects autocannons and energy torpedoes, but to a lesser degree it also affects plasma. This works well for deciding whether to use Red or Gamma Lasers, but falls apart because since 3.6 certain weapons use an increased amount of power to make up for their supposed benefits. Instead it's working on the assumption that the more power a weapon uses the better it is. Small correction, AI doesn't look at fleet power. ![]()
